Red Fox mating scream in the woods

When mating, the red fox emist a very distinctive screech (or scream) captured in this video.

When I first heard this scream I was like : “What’s that?” Then I saw 2 foxes walking in the woods by my neighbour’s house.

I only wanted to capture the sound but I got a little more… You can see the foxes in the video.

The short screech is emitted mostly by females to attract males.
